The finished work of Christ is the foundation upon which our faith stands. On the cross, Jesus declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30), signaling that the debt of sin was fully paid. The barrier between humanity and God was torn down, and we were granted full access to the Father through the blood of His Son. In Christ, we find the fulfillment of every promise, the end of every striving, and the beginning of our eternal rest.
Jesus did not leave anything undone. His sacrifice was not partial but complete, covering every sin—past, present, and future. “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified” (Hebrews 10:14). This truth stirs our hearts to gratitude and leads us to worship Him, knowing that through His work, we are reconciled to God forever.
Let this revelation bring us to a place of rest in Him. No longer striving to earn what has already been given, but resting in the knowledge that we are loved, forgiven, and accepted by the Father. “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Christ’s finished work invites us to cease from our efforts and trust fully in His grace, walking in the confidence that what He has accomplished is enough.
