Faith is not about what we can achieve, but about trusting in what has already been accomplished through Christ. The finished work of Jesus is the bedrock of our faith. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). The cross and the resurrection are the ultimate demonstrations of God’s love and power, and our faith rests in the assurance that through these, we are redeemed.
Faith in Christ’s finished work silences the voice of doubt and fear. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). When we anchor our faith in what Jesus has done, we no longer have to be tossed by uncertainty or fear. Our confidence is in His faithfulness, which never wavers. His finished work secures our eternal future, giving us peace today.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23). As we live by faith in the finished work of Jesus, we embrace a life of dependence on Him, confident that we are loved, forgiven, and accepted in Him.
